The Design of Amber and Modern Filigree Inlay Technology — The Example of "Lotus Listening to The Sound of Rain" Jewelry Work

  • As an organic gemstone, amber has a rich variety of categories, some people are attracted to its colour, some to its appearance, and some to its ever-changing shapes, which also provides designers with infinite space for reverie, as the saying goes, "one stone, one design". As a gemstone carrying the memory of nature, it can better fit with people's life through jewelry, so that the memory of nature can be written by culture. This design is a unique combination of modern filigree inlay techniques, titanium plating technology and amber. The design not only solves the shortcomings of the filigree technique, which is prone to degeneration, oxidation and monochromaticity, but also better echoes the colours of amber and the expression of the essence of heaven and earth in the residual autumn lotus presented by the jewelry as a whole.
