The Application of Paper-Cut Superposing Art in the Design of 3D Printing Clothing Accessory

After investigating the application status of paper-cuts in the field of contemporary design and analyzing the paper-cuts performance technique and its artistic characteristics, this paper proposes the design idea of jewelry transformation and dynamic display of the art of paper-cuts superposing, and applies it to 3D printing for apparel accessory design and creation. The jewelry design practice mainly uses selective laser melting technology (SLM) to 3D print metal combining with metalworking, laser cutting, anodizing, electroplating and other techinologies to carry out design practice exploration, and discusses the paper-cut superposing art in 3D printing clothing accessory design innovation.
