四川凉山南红玛瑙与非洲南红玛瑙的宝石学特征

Gemmological Characteristic of Nanhong Agate from Liangshan in Sichuan Province, China and Africa

  • 摘要: 利用常规宝石学测试,电子探针(EDAX)、X射线荧光光谱仪(XRF)、X射线粉末衍射仪(XRD)、综合热分析(DSC/TG)、扫描电子显微镜及能谱分析(SEM/EDS)对中国四川凉山南红玛瑙和非洲南红玛瑙的矿物组成、结构、微量元素等特征进行了分析。结果表明,四川凉山南红玛瑙与非洲南红玛瑙在矿物组成上均以SiO2为主,但两产地南红玛瑙中都含有少量的Al、Mg、K、Na和Ca、S、Fe、Ni、Cu、Zn等元素,且四川凉山南红玛瑙中存在少量Al取代Si;同时发现非洲南红玛瑙中Fe2O3的质量分数比四川凉山南红玛瑙中的高,而四川凉山南红玛瑙中Al2O3的质量分数比非洲南红玛瑙中的高,因而判断非洲南红玛瑙的颜色较四川凉山南红玛瑙的颜色深的主要原因是其Fe2O3的质量分数高。综合热分析表明四川凉山南红玛瑙中SiO2结晶比非洲南红玛瑙好。

     

    Abstract: The nanhong agates from Liangshan in Sichuan Province, China and from Africa, were researched by using the conventional gemmological tests, electron microprobe (EPMA), X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (XRF), X-ray powder diffraction spectrometer (XRD), comprehensive thermal analysis (DSC/TG), and scanning electron microscope with energy spectrum analysis (SEM/EDS).The results indicated that the minerals of nahong agate samples are mainly α-SiO2, including a few of elements Al, Mg, K, Na, Ca, S and Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, etc..The content of Fe2O3 in the nanhong agates from Africa is higher than that of nanhong agates from Liangshan in Sichuan Province, which make the colour of nanhong agates from Arica deeper.The content of Al2O3 in the nanhong agates from Liangshan in Sichuan Province is higher than that of nanhong agates from Africa.Meanwhile, the crystallization of α-SiO2 in nanhong agates from Liangshan in Sichuan Province is better than that of nanhong agates from Arica by DSC.
