变红磷铁矿的宝石矿物学特征研究

Study on Gemmological and Mineral Characteristics of Phosphosiderite

  • 摘要: 针对近来香港市场上出现的一种紫红色玉石,采用常规的宝石学研究方法,并结合红外光谱、拉曼光谱、X射线粉末衍射等大型仪器,对该玉石样品的宝石矿物学特征进行一系列的研究。研究结果表明,样品的折射率为1.69~1.71,密度为2.50~2.62g/cm3,摩氏硬度为4;红外光谱和拉曼光谱的分析结果显示,样品的特征谱峰主要是由[PO43-离子和结晶水H2O所致,与变红磷铁矿的成分特征吻合。其中,拉曼光谱中989cm-1处的强吸收峰,1 624,856cm-1处较强的吸收峰,100~500cm-1内多处弱吸收峰,为该玉石样品的诊断性鉴别依据;EPMA和XRD的测试结果表明,该样品为变红磷铁矿集合体,组成矿物颗粒呈短柱状,粒径10~20μm。

     

    Abstract: Currently,there appears a kind of purple-red jade in Hong Kong market and the gemmological and mineral characteristics of this jade are researched by using conventional gemmological testing methods and FTIR,Raman spectrum,XRD and so on.The results show that the RI of the sample is 1.69~1.71,density is 2.50~2.62g/cm3,hardness is 4.FTIR and Raman spectrum researches show that the typical peaks result from [PO43- and crystal water H2O and these features match with those of the phosphosiderite.The strong absorption peaks at 989,1 624,856cm-1,and weak peaks in 100~500cm-1 are the critical identification evidence of the jade sample.EPMA and XRD results show that the sample is phosphosiderite aggregate.And its mineral particles are short columnar and the sizes are between 10μm and 20μm.
