铬和钒在宝石变色效应中的作用

Role of Cr and V in Colour Change Effect of Gemstones

  • 摘要: 运用现代分析手段,对变石、合成变石、变色石榴石、合成及天然变色蓝宝石等多种变色宝石的化学成分及紫外-可见光光谱进行了分析,并运用晶体场理论讨论了变色效应的成因,着重分析了各种变色宝石中Cr和V在变色效应中的作用。变色效应是光源性质和宝石中致色离子的选择性吸收共同作用的结果。宝石对红、绿光的吸收达到基本平衡,才能在日光和白炽光下产生明显不同的颜色。

     

    Abstract: Modern testing techniques have been applied to various gemstones that show colour change effect. Based on crystal field theory, the mechanism of colour change effect and the role of Cr and V are discussed. Colour change effect is the result of combination of light source with selective absorption of colouring ion to visible light. The spectral characteristic of a colour-change gemstone should show balanced absorption in red region and green region.
