Abstract: Double happiness is a propitious pattern with Chinese traditional cultural feature. It represents happiness and propitiousness. The Olympic village of Beijing Olympic games in 2008 will be designed in the layout of "double happiness". Accordingly, the "double happiness" can be associated with the Olympic jewelry design. Beginning with the culture of "happiness" and "double happiness", the historical and cultural connotation of "double happiness"and its aesthetics are discussed. Eventually, the conception of Olympic wedding jewelry design is conceived from the application of the "double happiness" in ancient and modern jewelry.
