金刚石的异常双折射特征及其意义

CHARACTERS OF BIREFRINGENCE IN DIAMOND AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS

  • 摘要: 金刚石异常双折射的不同形式和组合是生长应力和生长期后应力作用的结果。利用偏光显微镜观察已加工成薄片的金刚石, 可以了解金刚石的生长期次和塑性变形的特点。金刚石异常双折射的成因分为 5种。对湖南金刚石的正交偏光特征进行分析, 认为正交偏光研究是阴极发光 (CL) 揭示金刚石生长多期性的有益补充, 反映生长期后塑性变形、内应力等方面的信息比 CL图丰富, 比拉曼光谱直观。

     

    Abstract: The different styles and composite of birefringence are caused by growth stress and post-growth stress. Diamond slabs show characters of growth stages and plastic deformation by polarizing microscopy. There are five causes of birefringence in diamond. The diamond slabs observed with polarizing microscopy show characters of multi stage growth, and post-growth plastic deformation which caused brown strip.
