Abstract:
A few pieces of green synthetic jadeite jade stone are studied by using X-ray powder diffraction, polarizing microscope, EPMA, infared reflectance spectrum and laser Raman spectrum. The results show that the synthetic jadeite jade stone is composed of crystalline and glassy materials. The crystalline materials in a little amount are prismatic jadeite jade, and the compositions of glassy material are nearly correspond to that of jadeite and higher in
w (SiO
2) and
w (Al
2O
3), lower in
w (Na
2O). The textures of the synthetic jadeite jade stone are more simple than that of the natural jadeite jade.
