Application of Modern Testing Technology in Study of Inclusions in Diamond

  • 摘要: 应用现代测试技术研究金刚石中的包裹体可为探索金刚石成因和地幔岩石圈性质及演化等重大问题提供重要的依据。采用激光拉曼探针 (LRM)分析技术可以获得包裹体分子振动和分子配位体结构的信息,适用于研究金刚石中的固体及流体包裹体。用电子探针分析 (EMPA)技术可以分析金刚石内包裹体的主元素类型和含量,可根据分析数据计算其化学结构式和确定包裹体的名称。用激光剥蚀电感耦合等离子质谱分析 (LA ICPMS)技术可准确得到样品中的主要元素、微量元素等信息,相对其它测试技术可获得更加完整的金刚石中包裹体的信息。对于不同的包裹体样品,运用恰当的分析方法是成功获得重要信息的关键。

     

    Abstract: The application of modern testing technology in study of the inclusions in diamond can provide the important evidence about the origin of diamond and the evolution and the characteristics of the mantle lithosphere. LRM is applied in the study of the solid and fluid inclusions in diamond. The information about molecular oscillation and molecular ligand structure of the inclusions can be obtained by using the method. The chemical compositions of the inclusions in diamond can be analyzed and the formula of the inclusions can be obtained by using EPMA, and the name of the inclusion can be determined. The information about the major elements and trace elements of the inclusions can be gotten by using LA-ICPMS. It is the key to obtain successfully the important information about the inclusions in diamond that the testing methods are selected positively according to the types of the inclusions.
