Abstract:
In view of the problems in the course Principles and Methods of Gem Identification, this article constructs a SPOC online and offline blending teaching model under the guidance of "National Golden Courses" and the characteristics of SPOC teaching. The curriculum is designed following the aspects of teaching objectives, learning content, mixed teaching activities, and evaluation methods etc. Through teaching practice, we found that the SPOC blending teaching mode had a positive role in cultivating students' independent learning ability, training their innovative spirit, and stimulating their explorative thinking.This paper aims to establish a scientific, effective and efficient gem course teaching system, expand the research scope of SPOC teaching model, and help developing high standard and high quality jewelry professionals.
