以学生为中心,提升课程质量的教学改革探究——以《钻石分级》课程为例

Research on Educational Reform to Improve the Quality of Course Based on the Student-Centered Teaching Mode: A Case Study of "Diamond Grading" Course

  • 摘要: 为提高课程教学质量和培养新时期高质量的珠宝人才,本文以《钻石分级》课程为例,开展以学生为中心的实践教学改革探索。通过实行多元化的教学方式,如线上和线下混合式教学、利用“雨课堂”等智慧教学工具,有效提高学生的学习效率,促进师生间及学生间的互动; 为满足目前教学需要,重新编写教材,加入彩色钻石分级等内容,建设融合纸质教材、数字化教材和课堂教学的一体化教材; 将学生的学习体验和学习收获作为教育目标,改革课程评价模式由单一的考试升级到融于教学全过程进行过程性评价,从课堂表现、实践分级、调研报告、结课论文几个方面来进行综合考核。最终实现从“以教师为中心”向“以学生为中心”的教学方式的转变,促进学生自主学习和综合能力的培养。

     

    Abstract: To enhance the course quality and cultivate qualified jewelry talents, we take the initiative to practice student-centered teaching for the "Diamond Grading" course. We build up a pluralistic teaching mode by employing blended online and offline teaching through smart teaching tools such as "Rain Classroom". It can greatly improve students' learning efficiency and enhance the communication between teacher and students, and among students themselves; In order to meet the current teaching needs, we add the content of fancy-colour diamond grading in the new course book integrating paper textbooks, electronic textbooks and classroom instruction; Taking students' learning experience and learning gain as educational objectives, we change the course evaluation mode from one examination to continuous assessment throughout the whole teaching process and the final score is composed of classroom performance, laboratory reports, investigation reports and course thesis. In this way, we aim to transform our teaching mode from teacher-centered to student-centered mode and cultivate students' self-learning capability and comprehensive ability.
