“绿幽灵”水晶仿制品的检测

Identification of "Green Phantom Crystal" Imitation

  • 摘要: 珠宝市场中习惯将含绿泥石包裹体的水晶称为“绿幽灵”水晶。近期,一种新型“绿幽灵”水晶仿制品出现在市场上,仿制品外观与“绿幽灵”水晶相似,常规宝石学检测显示其折射率为1.55(点测法),由于所含包裹体的数量不同,相对密度在2.67左右,显微放大观察发现样品富含气液两相包裹体,绿色包裹体为碎屑颗粒状,红外光谱检测显示这些绿色颗粒为合成碳硅石。综合检测结果发现,这是一种在天然无色水晶中注入绿色合成碳硅石,用于仿“绿幽灵”的新型仿制品。此类仿制品具有一定欺骗性,检测时应尤其注意对包裹体放大检查。

     

    Abstract: "Green phantom crystal" is the trade name of crystal which contains green chlorite inclusions. Recently, a new type of "green phantom crystal" imitation appeared on the market, and the appearance of the imitation is similar to the natural one. Results of the basic gemmological tests show that the samples have a refractive index of 1.55 (point measurenent), and the relative density is about 2.67. Microscopic magnification observation shows that the samples contain gas-liquid two-phases inclusions, and further researches show that the green inclusions are composed of particles.Infrared spectra show that these green particles are synthetic moissanites. The test results show that it is a new type of imitation of "green phantom crystal" that infuses green synthetic moissanite into natural colourless crystal. Therefore, it is suggested to observe the inclusions carefully when identifying this kind of "green phantom crystal".
