Abstract:
Taking the 3D printing technology and the traditional jewelry crafting process as the research object, the advantages and disadvantages of the two jewelry manufacturing methods are analyzed. Through the comparison of production cost, production cycle, structural process, precision accuracy, custom complexity, surface roughness, etc., the 3D printing technology is proposed to make the design and the manufacturing process of jewelry more cost-effective, improve the efficiency, increase the complexity of the structure, and enhance the success rate of customization. The traditional jewelry crafting process has the characteristics of mass production and beautiful decoration. Jewelry manufacturers can select the appropriate production methods for jewelry manufacturing based on the needs of the market.
