Abstract: Chinese traditional jade culture has a long history and a deep foundation.As an important category of jade, jade ornaments are very popular in China.Its culture is also becoming prosperous, through the introduction of the Chinese traditional jade culture and development process, this paper analyzed the cultural foundation of jadeite jewelry, expounds the production and development process of jadeite jewelry culture. Moreover, this paper also subdivided the types of jadeite ornaments' and summarizes the symbolic meaning of jadeite ornaments. On this basis, the evolution process of jadeite ornaments function is pointed out, and the development direction of jadeite ornaments function is put forward.
