Abstract: The application of ink technique expression in jade carving design requires jade carving designers to use their skills based on their aptitude and craft to grasp the characteristics of the materials to create.This paper mainly takes jade with ink features as examples to summarize the general expression forms of ink techniques: Ink accumulating, dotting and dyeing techniques, and summarizes the design and application ways of each technique in jade carving. This paper aims to enable designers to make better use of jade with ink morphological features to improve the aesthetic sense of the design. The designers should learn to use multiple expressive techniques to design and create according to the certain shapes, textures, colours and other features of the materials.
