Abstract: With rapid development of 3D printing technology, 3D modeling software has been utilized in an ever-increasing scale in the jewelry industry.More and more newly developed modeling softwares and plug-in, with better functions, are available in the market.Today Rhinoceros and JewelCAD are the most frequently used modeling softwares in the jewelry industry.By comparing with JewelCAD, the authors discussed the advantages of Rhinoceros in jewelry modeling, and wanted to help more jewelry designers to understand the commands and tools in Rhinoceros and take advantages of JewelCAD and Rhinoceros, improving the quality and efficiency in jewelry design.
