Abstract:
Based on the analysis of the current research situation, this paper proposed two types of abandoned mining areas, namely "Natural Regeneration" and "Composite Regeneration".The natural regeneration model is applicable to abandoned mines where resources are depleted and the surrounding environment is severely damaged. The composite regenerationmodel is applicable to abandoned mines where the damage is relatively small and the surrounding environment and supporting facilities are relatively good.Taking the Yungai Temple turquoise mining from Hubei Province as an example, the authors selected 16 evaluation factors from 4 aspects of resource value, tourism development potential, tourism development benefit and ecological environment, and constructs the Yungai Temple turquoise mining area tourism resource evaluation system and classified them.According to the evaluation results, it is concluded that the mining area is suitable for adopting the composite regeneration mode. Finally, combining the resource characteristics of the Yungai Temple turquoise mining area, the authors discussed the regeneration design from the aspects of strengthening the protection of turquoise mining heritage sites, gem production and processing and display, protection and inheritance of traditional craftsmanship, construction of cultural and creative agglomeration areas, and creation of jewelry-oriented leisure resorts method.
