岫玉、蓝田玉的矿物学特征及力学抗拉强度研究

Mineralogical Characteristic and Mechanical Tensile Strength of Xiu Yu and Lantian Yu

  • 摘要: 利用偏光显微镜、万能试验机测试岫玉、蓝田玉样品的矿物学特征及力学抗拉强度。研究结果表明:岫玉的主要矿物为鳞片状变晶结构蛇纹石,次要矿物有滑石、闪石类,大部分呈纤维定向排列,结构致密;蓝田玉主要矿物为叶蛇纹石与块状方解石,次要矿物有大量辉石、橄榄石颗粒,结构松散;玉石中矿物结构、数量、形态的差异导致其力学抗拉强度差异,岫玉的抗拉强度平均值为15.09 Mpa,强于蓝田玉的9.59 Mpa,岫玉有较高的成品率。

     

    Abstract: Using the polarizing microscope and universal testing machine, the mineralogical characteristics and tensile strength of Xiu Yu and Lantian Yu samples were tested.The results showed that the main mineral of Xiu Yu is serpentine with the scaly structure, and the secondary minerals are talc and amphibole.Most of the minerals are arranged in fiber orientation and the structure is very compact.The main minerals of Lantian Yu are antigorite and massive calcite, and the secondary minerals contain large amounts of pyroxene and olivine grains, and the structure is loose.The differences in the structure, quantity and morphology of the jade leads to difference in mechanical tensile strength.Average tensile strength value of Xiu Yu is 15.09 Mpa,which is much bigger than that of Lantian Yu(9.59 Mpa).And carved with high tensile strength, Xiu Yu has a higher finished product rate.
