Abstract: With the development of the Internet, Internet of things, cloud computing, Big Data and other information technology, the application of digital software, 3D printing, intelligent wearable technology have greatly promoted digital jewelry design.Digital jewelry design had also taken an important role in the inheritance and innovation of technology, art, culture, technology and jewelry.This paper outlined the concept, types and characteristics of the digital jewelry design, and briefly analyzed its current status and development from the following two aspects, and put further view on researching digital jewelry design:(1) Through the leading software technology and 3D printing hardware technology, the authors explored the developing direction of digital jewelry design and processing technology and searched for the development and innovation of traditional way of jewelry; (2) Through the new information echnology, Internet thinking, user thinking, and the combination of digital technology and jewelry, the anthors explored the needs of people and the development of the era of intelligent wearable jewelry.With background of emerging information age and digital technology, the anthor would explore more directions of 3D printing, digital technology and search for the perfect combination of jewelry art and technology integration.
